Hi, I am Mariah.

I am located in Mid Michigan, some of my interests are hot rods, the drag strip and fishing. I favor natural light, outdoor photography but hope to dip my toes into studio portraits a little more soon!

Photography has never been just taking pictures to me, it's always been trying to show the world the same beauty I see in ordinary and extraordinary people and things. My entire life I've been called a “people pleaser” and it's true, making people happy brings me joy. So photography to me is showing the senior that doesn’t think she’s pretty enough to be a model or stand in front of a camera that she is beautiful; it’s capturing the love a couple radiates; it's savoring a young child's smile in a photograph their parents can cherish forever; it’s creating a keepsake of a memory you hold dear to your heart even after the people in the photo are gone.
